Walter Gonet, creator and Executive Producer of New Music Showcase, and owner of WG Records, is the brainchild behind the New Music Showcase organization. Walter has been involved in the music industry since the 1970s and is very passionate about promoting and developing new and up-and-coming talent. Walter and his staff have worked tirelessly to create the best opportunity for independent artist. The show, now in its third season is distributed through various Public Access Channels and viewed by audiences throughout the United States and Canada.
It is through Walter's vision that this locally produced homegrown program has been transformed into an international forum for musicians and artists.

Supervising Producer/ Director/ Audio Engineer/ Musician
Carl is a New England area musician who has played drums in many bands and recording sessions since the early 70's including: Cadillac Ranch, MaGraw, Hatchet Jack, The Brian O'Connor Band, Fingers & Co., Frankie Hill & the Spydells, Josh Brown & Midnight Ride, Creatures of Habit and more.
Carl has also worked as a recording engineer since the early 70's, and has engineered/mixed many live recordings and demos that led him into doing sound for television at the start of the 80's. Carl's sound engineering work included sporting events, telethons, children's programming, and live music. Artist Carl has worked with include Ramblin' Jack Elliott, Patty Larkin, Jane Gillman, Jaime Brockett, Guy Clark, Bill Morrissey, Chris Smither, Bruce Pratt, Harvey Reed, Cosy Sheriden, Cormac McCarthy, Pat Donohue, and Ozone Pete Willett at the Hartland Folk Festival 1991 & 1992.
Eventually Carl started directing and producing a music series called "Folklore", working with area artists such as Jonathan Edwards, Norman Schell, Peter Newland, Bruce McCay, McDonnell Tane, The Rude Girls, Tom Abdow and others. The series ran for over eight years. Carl also worked with public access TV in Springfield, Longmeadow, and Monson MA, and on the road with Springfield mobile TV & CT Valley Productions mobile TV. He has produced music concept videos and documentaries including President Ronald Reagan's visit to Springfield MA.
Currently Carl is working with Walter Gonet & crew on "New Music Showcase". Carl is the Supervising Producer handling post production. In his spare time he designs layouts and graphics for CD productions and, is the owner of GrubSteak Productions recording label (GS records).

Lila Wolan-Jedniniak president of New Music Showcase is a producer from Springfield, MA who is involved in many video and audio projects.
Besides directing and producing shows for New Music Showcase, Lila also produces a 30-minute weekly variety show called "Viking Woman Presents" which is also shown on many public access cable systems.
Lila also does a radio show on Valley Free Radio 103.3 FM in Northampton, MA under the name of DJ Alduru. She also participates in the New Music Showcase radio show which follows her Thursday evening show.
Lila is also a volunteer involved with booking and setting up shows at the Flywheel which usually draws a good crowd attendance.
At New Music Showcase besides directing the majority of the shows, she also edits and duplicates the tapes to be sent to different cable systems.

Randy Tougas

Vice president Randy Tougas is the newsletter editor, web master, substitute host, and producer for New Music Showcase.
Randy, a technical writer and graphic artist, works for Thomson Broadcast and Multimedia, managing the publications department and the customer service web site.
A fretless bass player, Randy has been playing rock, jazz and blues in the Pioneer Valley for over twenty years. Randy is currently playing bass for Tracy and Company, Stop Gravity and Second Nature (www.secondnaturerockband.com ). Second Nature had the pleasure of appearing on New Music Showcase in season two.
